Where is the SWORD of Shivaji Maharaj???
Truth Revealed!!!

Many people think that the SWORD [talwar] of our Shivaji Maharaj i.e. Bhavani Talwar is in the ‘Royal Palace of London’. But we have questions like- ‘what is the weight of the sword?’, ‘in which wars did Maharaj use it?’ But, the most important question is that-‘Is the Sword in the Royal Palace of London really the Bhavani Talwar?’ There are many misgivings about this particular sword! Read the whole article to know about…. ‘The Great TALWARS OF Shivaji Maharaj!

First of all, let me ask you a question- in your school time, did you use only one pen? Of course not! You used different pens for different purposes, just like that kings didn’t use just one sword for their use, they used different swords for different events. Our Maharaj too used different swords, but the thing is that we do not know about them….
·       Friends, the BHAVANI TALWAR we speak about has a very nice history....
The story begins in 7th March 1659 when the Portuguese got stuck with their ship on their road. At that time, there was a soldier named ‘Ambaji Sawant’ who took the opportunity and fought with the Portuguese and won the battle. There he got some valuable jewellery boxes and a mind blowing sword… which we call ‘Bhavani Talwar’. Shivaji Maharaj was at that time on his way to Konkan and absolutely on that particular day on Mahashivratri, Maharaj met Sawant and as a mark of respect to the great king Sawant gifted the Bhavani Talwar to Shivaji Maharaj. Sawant’s real name was Krishnaji Sawant. Just 6 months before the death of Afzalkhan Maharaj was gifted this Sword. Maharaj was impressed looking at that sword, Sawant described the battle. That Sword was the Sword of the Captain of that Portuguese ship. Shivaji Maharaj in return awarded Sawant 300 Hons for his valour. This 300 Hons is today’s 7,20,00,000 Rupees!!!

India is a pioneer in using ‘Mathematics’ in Science ! → In the year 1658, there was a French Mathematician named ‘Peare Di Farma’, once he gave a problem to his friend ‘Barnard Frenikle Di Besi’ to solve. The problem was ‘if a and b are two natural numbers, then find 61a 2 + 1 = b 2 ‘. Till many decades this problem haunted the mathematicians but later in the year1732 a great mathematician named Leonard Yuler solved it. But after some years people came to know that Bhaskaracharya, an Indian Mathematician of the 12 th century solved it long before and according to his calculations the value of a and b were 22,61,53,980 and 1,76,63,99,049,
