5. India is a pioneer in using ‘Mathematics’ in Science!
In the year 1658, there was a French Mathematician named ‘Peare Di Farma’, once he gave a problem to his friend ‘Barnard Frenikle Di Besi’ to solve. The problem was ‘if a and b are two natural numbers, then find 61a2 + 1 = b2 ‘. Till many decades this problem haunted the mathematicians but later in the year1732 a great mathematician named Leonard Yuler solved it. But after some years people came to know that Bhaskaracharya, an Indian Mathematician of the 12th century solved it long before and according to his calculations the value of a and b were 22,61,53,980 and 1,76,63,99,049, respectively. He was the man who used mathematics in khagolshastra. He wrote books like ‘Lilavati’, ‘Ganitadhyay’ and ‘Goladhyay’, people used to say that reading his books a common man would be able to count the number of leaves in a tree!

         6. The ‘Medical Science’ developed in India!
The science of Medicine was started approximately from 3000 A.D. in India. The Rushimunis of that time studied the structure of not only the human body but also of other animals. They created different antibiotics, medicines using herbs. The medical science was called as ‘Ayurveda’ (The knowledge of Life). The benefit was this that the Ayurveda Medicines didn’t have expiry dates! Still today, we can gain knowledge of medicine by reading the 4 main books- ‘Charak- Sanhita’, ‘Sishrit- Sanhita’, ‘Ashtang- Hriday’ and ‘Ashtang- Sangraha’.

7. Ancient India is a contributor of imagination of science which we today call ‘Science Fiction’!
Many a times we read the great texts of Ramayana and Mahabharata, and often come across words like ‘Pushpak Viman’ which was a flying chariot, here comes the idea of an aero plane, not only this but we also come across weapons of laser, missiles in the texts. Even though in real life they didn’t appear, they still contributed to the imagination of planes and missiles, etc. And that gives a great meaning because before an invention the imagination of it is important.

THIS WAS THE 2nd PART OF INDIA’S CONTRIBUTION IN SCIENCE… IN THE THIRD PART YOU WILL GET TO KNOW THE MOST MIND BLOWING FACTS ABOUT INDIA….. 3rd Part COMING SOON...
