IS CHINA REALLY CREATING AN
‘ARTIFICIAL MOON’?
[DETAILED INFORMATION]

We all know that China created an ‘Artificial Sun’… if you still have not read our previous article all about ‘China’s Artificial Sun’ CLICK HERE-https://gogetmotivation.blogspot.com/2018/12/has-china-really-created-artificial-sun.html

After the successful ‘Artificial Sun’, China has now declared that it will make an ‘Artificial Moon’ till the year 2020! The light of this Artificial Moon is this much that it will replace the Street Lamps in the cities of Chengdu in China. To say in short, this Artificial Moon will be 8 times brighter than our Natural Moon! In the forthcoming 4 years, China has decided to launch 3 such Artificial Moons.

● How will the Artificial Moon work?
→ We all know, that our Natural Moon is not self-luminous.. but it reflects the light of the Sun which makes it bright. China is going to use the same principle to create its own moon! In fact, China will launch such artificial satellite that its surface will be highly reflective, just like a mirror. This satellite will be launched in geo-stationary orbit 500km above Earth in such a way that this satellite will reflect light on the city itself for which  it is targeted. As it will be in geo-stationary orbit, its surface related to Earth will never change its position. On day, due to the bright sunlight no one will be able to see it, but in night this satellite will shine and will be able to cover at least 10km to 80km of area. And this is called the ‘Artificial Moon’. There will be 3 such satellite launched that will work alternatively.

● Now, the question is that what is its advantage?
→ Its answer is just like our Natural Moon, this also will be a natural source of light. That means they will need no electricity or energy. Let there be electricity or not, it will emit light for free! This can be helpful while adverse situations like tsunamis!
